Lander Elite ID Camp
The Lander Elite ID Camp gives players a true insider’s look at what it really means to train, compete, and think like a collegiate soccer player. Throughout the day, campers step directly into the rhythm and intensity of Lander University women’s soccer as they take part in two high-level training sessions modeled exactly after those run for the current LU team.
Each session is designed to challenge players physically, sharpen tactical understanding, and reveal the competitive standards expected at the college level.
Coaching is led by the Lander University staff, with direct support from current LU women’s soccer players, giving campers valuable insight, mentorship, and real-time feedback from athletes who live the experience every day. Training sessions wrap up with competitive match play, allowing players to showcase what they’ve learned in a game-based environment.
Goalkeeper-Specific Training
Goalkeepers receive dedicated, position-specific instruction during the first half of each session before joining field players for match play. This format ensures they develop specialized skills while still experiencing the full competitive environment of the camp.
Learn the College Experience Off the Field
During the lunch break, campers take part in interactive Q&A sessions covering: What life is like as a collegiate student-athleteThe recruiting process and how to navigate it. Academic expectations and balancing school with sport. These conversations give players a clearer understanding of the pathway to college soccer and what it means to thrive at the next level.
